April 19, 2013 - The national health insurance quoting and enrollment platform known as Inshealth used for the federal government for HealthCare.gov is now available to consumers through Members insurance exchange. This service originally developed by Ehealthinsurance quotes dozens of health insurance options side by side and allows for fast secure online enrollment for most major medical plans. The health insurance plans, rates and online enrollment services are the same regardless of the point of enrollment but agent service is available through the Members exchange. OnlineNavigator changed its primary enrollment support platform in response to the launch of this new service.September 4, 2012 - New Multi-Choice health insurance for businesses expands the options available to employees. September 1, 2012 - Hearing aid offer expanded to 26 million UnitedHealthcare members despite opposition from hearing industry professionals.

April 26, 2012 - UnitedHealthOne released results of an internal study that identifies the specific communities across the country where its insurance is most competitive compared to other carriers but that broker activity has not recognized the opportunities to help consumers save money with new coverage options and lower premium rates. Alexandria Virginia was named as the #1 top growth market on the "top 20 list" of the nation's underserved communities.

March 21, 2012 - A new article explaining the vanishing deductible credit is available. Be sure to ask the enrollment agent to explain any details of this important policy feature that may not be clear from the online material. With the average policy deductible now at $2,500 and the trend indicating that deductible will be even higher in the future, this policy feature may be as important as the premium rate and network features.
March 15, 2012 - All enrollment support is now provided through OnlineNavigator.org. OnlineNavigator provides free professional support for all health plan enrollments through e-mail, telephone and online video conference platforms. Service is still provided primarily by Tony Novak but the service format is updated to take advantage of improved technology and additional support options offered though HealthCare.gov and other health reform resources.

Clients applying for most UnitedHealthOne personal health plans (except short Term and Stat Plans) now receive additional benefits! Golden Rule plans are compliant with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act by adding the required benefits for plans starting with effective dates of Sept. 23, 2010:
• Covered in-network preventive care is not subject to deductible, coinsurance, copays, or a waiting period.
• No aggregate lifetime dollar maximum.
• Prescription drug annual dollar limit is removed.
• Outpatient spine and back annual dollar limit is removed.
• Mental disorder/substance abuse lifetime and annual dollar limit is removed.
• Preexisting condition exclusions are removed for covered dependent children under age 19.
