UnitedHealthcare receives 2011 ClearMark Award

May 11, 2011 - UnitedHealthcare was awarded a 2011 ClearMark recognition from the Center for Plain Language in the category "Website / Dynamic Media: Private" for its educational video explaining Medicare coverage to consumers. Although UnitedHealthcare does not directly issue Medicare coverage, it is a primary issuer of individual medical insurance for those under the age of eligibility for Medicare as well as those who wish to supplement or replace Medicare coverage with alternate coverage.

The ClearMark Awards are given to the best plain language documents and web sites. They are judged by a panel of international experts, following a strict set of criteria. The award may be recognized by the group's logo depicted on the right.
